  BIKE RACE DAY/

RIOT HANG OUT DAY!!!!

 

So as we know, this Sunday is the infamous Bike Race in Manayunk.  Best
day of the year (even if Smash is too cool for us this year). Anyway,
what could be cooler than combining this with an afternoon Riot shindig!

 

Miss Sarah Sall has been kind enough to let us take over her house and
enjoy each other's company and the beautiful weather while sipping adult
beverages and nibbling on finger sandwiches.  In other words, get ready
for flip cup, beer pong, and tons of munchies!!!!

 

So, although Manayunk festivities start in the morning hours,  grilling
will begin at 3pm on Sarah's newly renovated back deck.  So let's be
kitted up, pottied and around the table at 3:15pm (sorry, old habits die
hard).  Participating parties are asked to bring one of the following:
soda, salad, side dish, dessert. IMPORTANT: we all know from past
experience that we are not "light drinkers".  It would be wise to pick
up a 30 pack or two on your way.  You never know when the keg will run
dry....and yes, it certainly will. It always does...sooner or later.  Oh
and be sure to thank Sarah!!!

***It is HIGHLY suggested that you avoid 76 at all costs.  If coming
from WC or southern points, take 76 but get off at the 476 split.
Follow 23east towards Conshy staying to the right on the ramp.  You can
either stay straight on Front St which eventually turns into Ridge Ave
and leads into the Yunk or turn right at the light and continue on
23east.  It's a windy back road but a pretty drive.  Turn left onto
Consh. State Rd(still 23E) .  Turn left onto Woodbine Ave.  Make another
left at the stop sign by the super awesome smelling Italian restaurant.
Follow around to the light and make a left. Make another left over the
bridge onto Main.  Follow to the right through both lights.  Smick will
be on your left with Sarah's house on the corner...4600 Smick!

 

If anyone is interested in meeting at my house (other side of the Yunk~
204 Sumac), just let me know. Parking will be hard to come
by...everywhere.
